Vw ID Buzz: The prices are known!
In a few days, the configurator of the new vw ID Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo will be activated, and pre-sales in France will begin. The first vehicles will be delivered by the end of this year.
The 5-seater ID.Buzz is launched throughout Europe initially in the premium “Pro” version. In parallel, the ID. Buzz Cargo is also available from the launch date. Both models hit the market with fully connected infotainment systems, a multifunction steering wheel, LED headlights, automatic climate control, cruise control and driver assistance/warning systems such as Car2x, and the standard Front Assist emergency braking system.
Many options will be offered: matrix LED headlights, a motorized tailgate and sliding doors, adaptive cruise control, a rearview camera, a keyless access system, electric and heated seats, a heated steering wheel, etc. Note that the ID.Buzz does without a navigation system. You will need to use your smartphone via Android Auto or Apple CarPlay connectivity wirelessly.
The ID.Buzz is equipped with a lithium-ion battery that provides 77 kWh and powers a rear electric motor of 204 hp and 310 Nm. WLTP consumption is 20.6 kWh/100 km (Cargo: 20.4 kWh/100 km), which corresponds to a range of 423 km (Cargo: 425 km). Connected to a DC fast charging station with a maximum power of 170 kW, the battery can be recharged from 5 to 80% of its capacity in about 30 minutes.
The price of the ID.Buzz in Germany is 64.581 €. The ID.Buzz Cargo costs €54,430. It’s quite expensive, yet we can already bet that its retro fashion accessory side will absolutely be a hit.
